Last Laugh Feet 26-3

Bijou is lying on the couch, apparently reading a book. The book’s title is visible at the beginning of the scene: “Le Théâtre et step-son Double” (it’s in French, of course). I’ve no idea what it’s about, or how much attention Bijou is actually paying to the text, but I guess it doesn’t really matter. What does matter is what happens at the other end, closer to the camcorder. Bijou gets on her stomach and tries to peel off her socks with her toes. This turns out to be too challenging, so she reaches behind her so she can grab the socks and pull them off. Once barefoot she rests her shins on the couch’s arm so that her feet are slightly past the arm, toes down. This offers a great view of her soles. She continues reading for the next several minutes while her feet do their own thing.

Sometimes they keep still for a while. At other times they move around a bit, with some rubbing, scratching and toe wiggling. Later she shifts her position so that she’s on her side. Her toes are now pointing more or less to the left, offering a different view of her soles. It seems this position might not be quite as comfortable, though, as she rolls back on her stomach after a minute or so.
