No Safeword – Mj 2

One of the things I love most about the No Safeword scene is the mental strength it taps into. I’m going to wax philosophical for a sec, but follow me. You’re at the gym and you’re doing sets and you in your brain decide “okay that’s it I’m done, I’m tapping”. It’s so easy to set a limit that falls far behind how much you can actually endure. Add in a physical trainer who’s egging you on and pushing you to your limit, and you realize that line is actually a lot farther away than you thought.

That’s what this scene is like. In No Safeword, Derek will go directly to your spots, THE spots (you know which ones I’m talking about) and he will ruthlessly tickle them like he does with MJ Baybee here. He does it because he can, because he knows you can’t tap out of it this time. And it’s fantastic.

You can hear it in MJ’s tone, the moment of desperation when you know that she’s reached that first, shallow limit line and she’s wondering how she could possibly take anymore. Then Derek reaches for a second tool so BOTH her feet can experience the same, relentless torment, and MJ sails over her first limit line. Where is her new line? How much can she actually endure? Her guess is as good as yours, which is as good as mine.

But the screams found in that void, my oh my are they captivating. I could spend forever in that liminal space, couldn’t you?
