Troubles in Middle Earth : Part 2

The Elvish border guard has fallen. Mary, captured by the cat-people, now finds
herself in the stocks : arms bound, feet exposed, completely at the mercy of
creatures who have very specific ideas about how to extract information. They
know her weak spots, as if by magic.

The stocks hold her completely still while her captors probe every inch of her bare soles. Will she give up the secrets of the frontier? Her laughter says everything. Her silence says nothing. The cat-people are very patient.
